Each year, many children come on school outings to discover Le Bournat Village, where time seems to have stopped a century ago.
They can watch with amazement the demonstrations of some traditional trades such as that of the spinner, the blacksmith, the barrel-hoop maker, the baker, the potter etc. (remember to ask us which craftsmen will be present on the day of your outing).
Le Bournat village now features a 20-meter high windmill, built according to the prevailing trade practice and the only one actually in operation in the Dordogne.
