> Exhibition on the theme of “Torture from the Middle Ages to today”. |
|
|
| |
This internationally famous exhibition is supported by humanitarian bodies.
Having been shown in Mexico, San Francisco, Tokyo, Madrid, Florence and elsewhere, it will be on display in
a new exhibition space in Reignac castle. This collection of more than sixty authentic instruments of torture and execution, and period engravings and paintings offers
a visual overview of the terrible history of horrors and human cruelty.
Although the instruments on display are drawn from the past, others more diabolical and more sophisticated are being created and used nowadays.
The aim of the exhibition is to make the public aware of the use of torture in the world today.
The exhibition is optional and there is no extra charge. |
