  > Visits
  Unguided visit :
The unguided visit lets you move along through the site at your own pace, with your visit booklet.
The booklet gives an overview of the periods of occupation of la Roque-Saint-Christophe and of the facilities which can be seen.

Unguided visit + "Investigation at the Troglodyte Fort":
Conducted just like the unguided visit, but each pupil is given a game-playing questionnaire
which provides a better understanding of the site.

Guided visit:
The guided visit is led by a guide
who describes in more detailed fashion the noteworthy items, adding commentaries suited to every age category.

Guided visit + Demonstration of the Drum Machine :
La Roque-Saint-Christophe proudly owns reconstructed civil engineering machines.
The drum machine, or squirrel-cage, is an emblem of the site, with its 3-meter diameter wheel. Its operation is described in detail by the guide and followed by a demonstration of the machine in action, with the hoisting of a load.

  > Workshops
  Workshop 1 "Chronology" :
In the context of the site's occupation, the children will have to interpret the various objects available to them.
Aim: understanding the technical and cultural changes while keeping in mind the historical context.

Workshop 2 " Archeological Digs" :
Equipped with an archeologist's tools, the children dig into a "paleosol" representing a dwelling from the upper paleolithic. Once the dig is finished, they draw their discoveries.
Aim: understanding how this place was lived in while keeping in mind the historical context.
